Rebecca Rhodes Receives Award from Hardin-Simmons University's School of Theology

Rebecca Rhodes, of Grand Prairie, Texas, received the Ben and Anne Bentley Endowed Scholarship in Ministerial Studies during an awards ceremony honoring students from the Hardin-Simmons University Logsdon School of Theology.

This scholarship was established in memory of Mrs. Mary Anne Bagwell Bentley by her husband, Mr. Benson Bentley, in February, 2006. The purpose of this endowed scholarship is to preserve the memory and legacy of Professor Bentley and to serve the financial needs of career ministerial students seeking education and vocation in the ministry.

Hardin-Simmons University awarded about $12 million in scholarships to students this year. HSU also guarantees students a tuition rate that does not increase as long as they maintain full-time enrollment in consecutive fall and spring semesters.
