Mudibu Nsumbu Designated 2012-2013 Campbell-Lacy Creative Writer by Hardin-Simmons University

Mudibu Nsumbu of Fort Worth, Texas, was named a Campbell-Lacy Creative Writer for the 2012-2013 academic year at the Hardin-Simmons University English Department's annual awards reception, April 29, 2013.

Campbell-Lacy Creative Writers are chosen by Dr. Bob Fink, W.D. Hollis R. Bond Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing. In addition to being recognized, the recipients of the award read 3 of their poems at the reception.

Hardin-Simmons University, founded in 1891, is a private Christian liberal arts university, and has been affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas (Texas Baptists) since 1941.
