Andrew Gunter Receives Award from Hardin-Simmons University's School of Theology

Andrew Gunter, of Miami, Florida, received the Ray and Nancy Ellis New Testament Greek Scholarship during an awards ceremony honoring students from the Hardin-Simmons University Logsdon School of Theology.

This scholarship was established in 1987 by the children of Dr. Ellis and Mrs. Ellis on the 30th anniversary of his serving as teacher and administrator at HSU. It was later added to by other family members and friends. Recipients are second year Greek students who have the highest average grade in their first year Greek.

Hardin-Simmons University awarded about $12 million in scholarships to students this year. HSU also guarantees students a tuition rate that does not increase as long as they maintain full-time enrollment in consecutive fall and spring semesters.
